Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

This notice explains how North Shore Powersports LLC handles information connected with northshorepowersportsmi.com, inquiries sent through its contact links and Parts Request page, and the services it provides.

Who to contact

North Shore Powersports LLC, 7500 Cedar Lake Rd, Pinckney, MI 48169, United States.
Email: NorthShorePowersportsllc@gmail.com
Phone: 734-550-1110. Use “Privacy Request” as your email subject for questions or requests about your information.

Information you choose to provide

The Parts Request page asks for your name, email address, the part or problem you need help with, and optional phone, boat, and engine details. Names and contact details help us respond; boat and engine details help us identify suitable parts. Without enough information, we may be unable to prepare a quote. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal information.

How the request form works

Typing into the Parts Request form does not submit those fields to a website database. Selecting “Prepare Email Request” passes the details to your email application as a draft. You must review it and press Send in that application before we receive your email. Your email application and email providers handle the draft and message under their own privacy terms.

How information is used and shared

Information you send is used to answer questions, identify requested parts, prepare quotes, communicate about requested services or orders, and maintain related business records. Our receiving mailbox is hosted by Google (Gmail). Website hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, process technical information to deliver and protect the site. If fulfilling your request involves a supplier or delivery provider, relevant order or shipping details may need to be shared with them. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim.

Services, storage, and brokerage

When you request or book winterization, shrink wrapping, storage, detailing, mobile service, or pickup and delivery, we use your contact details, information about your boat, personal watercraft, RV, or other item (including hull, vehicle, or engine serial numbers), and its service or pickup location to schedule and perform the work, keep service records, and bill for it. For sales and brokerage, we share boat details and photos with prospective buyers or listing platforms only as you authorize, and we do not publish your name or contact details without your permission.

Sale of information, text messages, and children

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Calls and text messages from us concern your requests, quotes, scheduling, and services; we do not send marketing text messages without your prior express consent, and you can reply STOP to any text from us to opt out. Because this website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, it does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information; contact us if you believe a child has sent us information so we can delete it.

Technical information and cookies

When you visit, hosting and security providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. The current pages do not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Cloudflare may set the __cf_bm security cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic; Cloudflare documents its expiry as 30 minutes of inactivity. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking security cookies may affect access. See Cloudflare’s cookie information.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose of the record. Inquiry correspondence is needed while answering and following up on your request. Records connected with completed work or orders may be needed for service history, warranties, accounting, tax obligations, or legal claims. Applicable recordkeeping requirements and unresolved disputes can require longer retention. Contact us to ask about the retention of a specific record or request deletion; records subject to legal retention requirements may need to be retained. Hosting and email providers also apply their own log, backup, and deletion schedules.

Your choices and privacy requests

Contact us using the details above to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask how it is used. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records. Rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to your request.

Visitors outside the United States

Our services are based in Michigan and are offered to customers in the United States. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, Canada’s PIPEDA, or a similar law applies to our handling of your information, the rights in this section and in “Your choices and privacy requests” apply as that law provides. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to our handling of your information, the legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract, legitimate interests in responding to general inquiries and protecting the website (subject to your rights), and applicable legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and complain to your local data protection authority. These requests are generally answered within one month; permitted extensions will be explained. The current website form does not make automated decisions or profile you.

Location of processing

We operate in the United States, and messages sent to us are handled through our U.S. business mailbox. Hosting and email providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. If a transfer is subject to GDPR restrictions, the applicable transfer basis and safeguards must be assessed; contact us for information relevant to your request.
